What We Do

Our comprehensive programs are designed to address the educational needs of vulnerable learners across Kenya.

Educational Support

We provide comprehensive educational support to vulnerable students across all levels of education. Our support includes payment of school fees, provision of school uniforms, learning materials and stationery, and accommodation support for university and TVET students.

Through our community-based identification model, we work closely with local leaders, teachers, parents, and community members to identify learners who are unable to continue their education due to financial and social challenges.

Youth Digital Literacy Programme (YoDLiP)

Digital Literacy

Recognizing that youth unemployment remains one of Kenya's greatest development challenges, FET equips young people with practical digital competencies that increase employability, support entrepreneurship, and enable self-employment.

Selected beneficiaries receive fully sponsored training programmes covering a wide range of digital skills.

  • Computer literacy
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Graphic design
  • Video editing
  • Website development
  • Digital communication and productivity tools

Academic Clinics

Recognizing that financial support alone is insufficient to improve educational outcomes, FET introduced Academic Clinics as a platform for holistic learner support. These clinics bring together students, parents, teachers, education professionals, and mentors to evaluate learners' progress, identify academic challenges, and develop practical intervention strategies.

First Academic Clinic – Migori

Held on 3 January 2025, bringing together student beneficiaries, parents, teachers, education professionals, and community members for personalized academic guidance.

Second Academic Clinic – Kangemi Cluster

Targeted university students from various institutions, marking FET's transition from educational sponsorship to skills development.

Third Academic Clinic – Mulo Computer School

Targeted secondary school students undertaking computer packages training, combining digital literacy, career mentorship, and practical ICT training.
